Light
“What is a small thing that improved your day?” Follow with: “What made it stand out?” “What kind of food do you enjoy making or finding?” Follow with: “What would you recommend to a beginner?”
Curious
“What is something you learned recently?” Follow with: “What surprised you about it?” “What hobby looks easier than it really is?” Follow with: “What makes it difficult?”
Imaginative
“If you could instantly learn one harmless skill, what would it be?” Follow with: “What would you do first?” “What ordinary object would you redesign?” Follow with: “What would you change?”
Reflective
“What makes a conversation feel easy to you?” Follow with: “Is there an example you are comfortable sharing?” “What is a piece of advice you have changed your mind about?” Follow only if the person seems comfortable.
Choose effort too: a quick answer, a short story, or a deeper thought. “Why this works” notes describe the editorial intent—clear scope and room to decline—not a scientific claim.
Deliberately excluded
The deck omits exact location, employer or school, income, credentials, private relationships, intimate topics, appearance pressure, and questions that make one person represent a culture. See what not to share.

Why a selected prompt is usable
The prompt has one main idea, can be answered at several levels of detail, and does not require a specific identity or life experience. Its follow-up grows from the answer rather than requesting a new private fact. A prompt may still be wrong for the moment, so the deck always needs a visible Choose another and an easy way to stop.
Adapt without collecting private text
The interactive version should let a user choose mood and effort from curated controls. Copy or save can remain on the device. Do not ask users to type the real conversation, a person's name, or a private disclosure into an analytics-backed generator. The goal is a ready phrase, not a database of what strangers said.
